Buddaha in Sancscript means awake or enlightened it’s an honorific name with religious content that is applied to those who have achieved a complete awakening or spiritual enlightenment. This awakening implies a state of mental tranquility.
The right arm is hanging with the palm facing the viewer. The five fingers extended represent the five perfections: generosity, morality, patience, effort and concentration. The varada mudra means compassion and charity and is often combined with other mudras.
